Halifax's use of the good old f-word, flip, has reached new heights in their current radio ad. Thanks to the repeated, almost constant use of the word in the 30 second slot, I have fallen head over heels in love with it again after all these years of not really noticing it around me or using it myself. And they go further than ever before in their employment of it: "flip no", I think one of the characters says for emphasis, which use would only have been associated with the harsher f-word until now. Fair flips to you, Halifax.
