Moana's last day with us

Moana Burt, hailing from New Zealand, who has been with us here now for a year or so, as senior writer and in many respects manager, is leaving tomorrow, and we are very sad to see her go, not just because she did so much great work in Penhire, but also because she was such a pleasure to work with and hang out with. We hope to hear from her occasionally here on Pen Ire (restaurants of London - beware!), and may even try to persuade her to set up Penhire New Zealand when she eventually scratches those itchy feet of hers enough to settle back home.

We say publicly (not very, though, I guess, considering it's on our unknown Blog):

ALL THE VERY BEST FOR THE FUTURE, MOANA, AND THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR INPUT; WE WILL MISS YOU. ON TO THE NEXT MOUNTAIN, EH?

Overheard in the gym this morning:
Australian girl 1: So where did you go last Christmas?
Australian girl 2: San Francisco
Australian girl 1: Oh I could never go to America. It's their accents, it would just drive me crazy.

Thanks to all those who put up with my accent over the last year. Please note the company will be again trade under its original name "Penhire" - not "Pinhire".

Thanks for a great year.
